Job summary

American Plastics, LLC is seeking a dedicated team member for our warehouse/production floor. The role focuses on safe material handling, forklift loading/unloading, and adherence to customer specifications during production and packing.

The ideal candidate will maintain orderly work areas, participate in housekeeping, and comply with all safety procedures while meeting daily delivery schedules. This on-site position requires physical stamina and the ability to follow work orders with accuracy.

Qualifications

• Standing long periods, bending, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 40 lbs individually and 80 lbs with a team lift.
• Maintain product specifications during production and packing according to customer requests.
• Meet daily delivery requirements.
• Monitor and advise if there are not an adequate inventory of materials (finished parts, WIP, and raw materials).
• May participate in housekeeping.
• Adhere to all safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Use a forklift to load and unload inbound and outbound materials.
• Move freight, stock, to and from storage or production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, or containers, by hand or using other equipment
• Sort finished goods before loading and unloading
• Attach identifying labels to containers or mark them with identifying information
• Read work orders or follow oral instructions of work assignments
• Assist in maintaining work area (i.e. sweeping, emptying trash, etc.)
• Other duties and special projects as assigned by Management
