Job summary

Reynolds Lake Oconee is seeking a Marina Forklift Operator to safely move boats in dry storage and promptly handle customer requests by radio or phone. You will learn and follow safety guidelines, perform daily equipment checks, and assist with maintenance tasks to ensure member satisfaction.

Responsibilities include operating boats and jet skis safely, using the POS system, and possibly covering other roles as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid GA driver's license and a good driving record.
• Must be able to swim, perform occasional heavy lifting up to 75 lbs, and have excellent corrected vision and good balance.
• Must be able to perform outdoor physical labor in varying weather conditions.
• Previous marina operations and/or forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to operate the POS system.
• Must be able to get in and out of boats and jet skis freely.
• High School degree or GED.

• Operates members’ boats and jet skis in a safe and controlled manner.
• Must successfully complete the onsite forklift certification testing within first year of employment.

Schedule:

Marina operates 7 days a week, Forklift Operators will work approximately 40 hours per week on a schedule set by the Marina Supervisor. Some overtime is expected. Weekend and holiday work is required.
