Responsibilities:Transporting and relocating product from base to established destination(s) and ensuring inventory accuracy.

Essential Functions, Duties & Responsibilities:

*Safely operates material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks or dollies to move stock or reorganize product.

*Work closely with production to ensure product is taken to and from production in a timely manner.

*Count, weigh and/or measure incoming or outgoing items to compare identifying information.

*Responsible for all product and material within assigned work area - this includes, but not limited to, inventory levels, product location, warehousing and proper product rotation.

*Inspect forklifts daily to ensure proper and safe operation.

*Follow instructions to ascertain raw materials and other materials needed for daily production.

*Ensure production personnel obtain needed supplies and materials in a timely manner.

*Other duties as assigned by Management

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

*Skilled in operating a forklift or other material handling equipment preferred.

*Strong Interpersonal, communication and organizational skills

*Excellent verbal and written communication skills

*Ability to work cross-functionally and within a team based environment

*Utilize safe operating skills

*Follow all company safety policy/procedure/rule/regulation.

*Ability to become PIT Certified required

Education & Experience:

*High school diploma or equivalent required

*Prior forklift operator experience preferred

*Manufacturing and/or Poultry Industry experience is a plus
