Responsibilities:Transporting and relocating product from base to established destination(s) and ensuring inventory accuracy.

Essential Functions, Duties & Responsibilities:

·Safely operates material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks or dollies to move stock or reorganize product.

·Work closely with production to ensure product is taken to and from production in a timely manner.

·Count, weigh and/or measure incoming or outgoing items to compare identifying information.

·Responsible for all product and material within assigned work area – this includes, but not limited to, inventory levels, product location, warehousing and proper product rotation.

·Inspect forklifts daily to ensure proper and safe operation.

·Follow instructions to ascertain raw materials and other materials needed for daily production.

·Ensure production personnel obtain needed supplies and materials in a timely manner.

·Other duties as assigned by Management

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

·Skilled in operating a forklift or other material handling equipment preferred.

·Strong Interpersonal, communication and organizational skills

·Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·Ability to work cross-functionally and within a team based environment

·Utilize safe operating skills

·Follow all company safety policy/procedure/rule/regulation.

·Ability to become PIT Certified required

Education & Experience:

·High school diploma or equivalent required

·Prior forklift operator experience preferred

·Manufacturing and/or Poultry Industry experience is a plus
