Job summary

CJ Schwan's in California is seeking a forklift operator for a first-shift role. You will receive palletized goods, store and transport them in a safe, OSHA-compliant manner and prepare pallets for loading in a food manufacturing environment.

Starting pay is $20–$22 per hour with a 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM schedule, weekly Friday pay, and a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, and disability plans. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0–1 year of related experience preferred.
• Ability to operate forklifts and use WMS/SAP as needed.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts and lift equipment per OSHA standards.
• Pick and stage pallets to support timely trailer loading.
• Maintain smooth product flow with accurate material movements.
• Perform equipment checks and report safety issues promptly.
• Assist with inventory counts and maintain organized storage areas.
