Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is hiring a Forklift Operator in Northlake, Texas. You will move stock, load/unload shipments, and operate stand-up reach forklifts and electric pallet jacks in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Shift is First Shift, 7:00am–3:00pm, Monday–Friday, paid at $20.00 per hour. Required: 1 year of forklift operation and case-picking experience; RF scanner and stand-up forklift skills preferred. Benefits include training and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment
• High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
• Six months warehouse experience, preferred
• Six months forklift operation experience

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products using forklifts or other power equipment (about 80% of shift)
• Pull and prepare product for shipment ensuring correct quantity and type
• Maintain inventory records for accuracy
• Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards
• Verify load accuracy and report variances
• Change equipment batteries or LP tanks as needed
• Keep equipment and materials clean and orderly
• Assist in physical inventories and daily equipment inspections
• Perform other duties as assigned
