Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in the United States is seeking a Forklift Operator to join our Arlington, TX operation. You will load and unload shipments, move stock with powered equipment, and support safe warehouse operations.

This full-time role offers first shift hours, Monday to Friday, with pay of $20.00 per hour; training will occur in Arlington then Lancaster. Experience with stand-up reach forklifts and electric pallet jacks is preferred and safety standards are strictly followed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience operating electric pallet jack and stand-up reach forklift.
• Previous case picking experience required.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products using forklifts or power equipment.
• Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring correct quantities.
• Maintain inventory records and reports for accuracy.
• Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards and safety guidelines.
• Perform daily inspection of equipment and report any issues.

Training Location: This position will be training in Arlington (1131 Wwest Bardin Rd, Suite 130 Arlington, Tx 76017) until the end of the year and then migrate to the Lancaster facility (2301 E. Longhorn Dr. Lancaster, TX 75134)

The core responsibilities of this role include: Loading and unloading; lifting, standing, bending; case picking; moving product with powered equipment; material handling; order picking.

Position: Forklift Operator

Shift: First Shift

Hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm

Days: Monday - Friday

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Required Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year experience operating a electric pallet jack; stand up reach forklift; previous case picking experience.

Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience using an RF Scanner; previous experience using a stand up forklift; continuous physical demands such as lifting, bending, standing

Role Purpose

What will you do in this role? Our Forklift Operators are responsible for moving stock from one area to another within our warehouse environment. You’ll load and unload shipments of various sizes, and you may use certain types of equipment such as stand‑up, sit‑down, or clamp forklifts and electric pallet jacks. Key Accountabilities

• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using various types of forklifts or other power equipment 80% of specified shift.
• Pull and prepare product for shipment ensuring the exact number and types of product is loaded.
• Keep appropriate records and reports for inventory accuracy.
• Comply with all OSHA and MSDS standards.
• Verify load accuracy; check the load count, stability, and product damage, report variances as necessary.
• Change equipment battery or LP tank and monitor power source as necessary.
• Maintain the facility’s equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
• Assist in physical inventories.
• Complete daily inspection of equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience

• Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment
• High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
• Six months warehouse experience, preferred
• Six months forklift operation experience
