Job summary

R+L Carriers in Ocala, FL is seeking a Part-Time Forklift Operator. You will move freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53 feet long, operating a forklift on a roofed but non-climate-controlled dock. Scheduling includes Monday 2:00 am - 7:00 am and Tuesday to Friday 4:00 am - 9:00 am.

Starting pay is $22.38 per hour with benefits and vacation after 90 days, and an excellent package including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Must be able to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty.
• Ability to read manifests.
• Ability to read/interact with a computer display.
• Forklift experience.
• Must be dependable and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

R+L Carriers has an immediate need for Part‑time Forklift Operators at our Ocala, FL service center. As a Forklift Operator, you will be tasked with moving all different types of freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53’ long. You will be operating a forklift on a roofed but non‑climate‑controlled dock.

Requirements

• Must be able to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty
• Ability to read manifests
• Ability to read/interact with a computer display
• Forklift experience
• Must be dependable and able to work in a fast‑paced environment

Preferred

• Previous forklift experience in a fast‑paced environment
• Some LTL experience
