Job summary

R+L Carriers is hiring a Forklift Operator in Jacksonville, FL to move freight in and out of trailers up to 53 feet. This full-time role runs Monday–Friday with specific night shifts, on a roofed dock. The position offers excellent benefits and a structured work schedule.

Starting pay is $20.87 per hour with vacation after 90 days and comprehensive benefits. Candidates should have forklift experience and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty.
• Ability to read manifests.
• Ability to read/interact with a computer display.
• Forklift experience, preferably in a fast-paced setting.
• Some LTL experience is a plus.

R+L Carriers has an immediate need for Full-time Forklift Operators at our Jacksonville, FL service center. As a Forklift Operator you will be tasked with moving all different types of freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53’ long. You will be operating a forklift on a roofed but non-climate-controlled dock.
