Job summary

RRD is seeking a Forklift Operator at our Ohio facility to move finished products for shipping and storage, and to supply materials to the Manufacturing Department. You will stage products, rack supplies, and maintain item inventories while performing routine hoist inspections and follow safety policies.

The role requires strong awareness of forklift dimensions, load balancing, and navigating warehouses with limited space. You will join a team focused on efficiency and safety in daily operations.

Qualifications

• Must understand dimensions of forklift and loads, and lifting capacity.
• Ability to gauge doorway/aisle clearance for forklift operation.
• Knowledge of storage-layout to locate/place items with minimal instruction.

Responsibilities

• Operates equipment to move finished product for shipping or storage.
• Supplies Manufacturing Department with materials as needed.
• Stages product to be moved or shipped.
• Racks unused supplies and maintains an inventory of type, amount and location of items.
• Transports and processes manufacturing paper by-products.
• Performs routine daily inspections on hoist and reports maintenance needs.
• Assists with battery service and lubrication of moving parts as needed.
• Follows safety policies including hazardous waste handling and lockout-tagout rules.
• Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned.
