Job summary

Koch Foods in Ohio (Fairfield) is seeking a reliable Forklift Operator to load and unload materials, move product within the facility, and transport items according to production and shipping schedules.

You will operate forklifts and related equipment, inspect loads for shipment, use RF guns to update inventory, complete daily checklists, and help maintain dock and storage area cleanliness while strictly adhering to safety rules.

Qualifications

• Forklift operator certification required.
• Experience operating forklifts and heavy equipment.
• Ability to follow safety rules and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate lift trucks to load, unload, and move materials within the facility.
• Transport materials according to production and shipping schedules.
• Unload/load trailers and trucks, stack products in storage bays.
• Ensure loads are secure and compliant with safety rules.
• Complete daily operator's checklist for lift trucks.
• Inspect finished goods and ensure pallets/packaging are in good condition.
• Use RF guns to scan inventory, receive materials, and verify orders.
• Maintain cleanliness/order in dock, freezer, and storage zones.
