Job summary

Valmont is currently seeking a highly motivated Forklift Operator in the Coatings Division in Salina, Kansas to operate a forklift and other lifting equipment safely and efficiently to deliver on-time, high-quality products. Available shifts: 1st shift, 6:00am to 2:30pm; 2nd shift, 2:30pm to 11:00pm.

Compensation is $23.00/hour with a $1.00/hour shift differential for the second shift. The ideal candidate will meet safety standards and possess basic math and detail-oriented skills for efficient

Qualifications

• One year of forklift experience in a professional setting.
• Ability to perform basic math functions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• High safety awareness and adherence to PPE requirements.
• Comfortable working around moving equipment and hazards.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift and lifting equipment safely and efficiently.
• Unload and load trucks and prepare shipments.
• Document and verify inventory and shipping paperwork.
