Job summary

ProAmpac in Granite City, IL is seeking a Warehouse Shipping/Receiving Associate. The role involves operating machinery safely, moving pallets, unloading paper, labeling finished goods, and maintaining accurate production and shipping records.

We offer benefits and a pay range of $20 per hour based on experience; shift is a 2-2-3 PM schedule. This role requires adherence to Safety, GMP, and OSHA standards, and a team-focused, detail-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Operates machine in a safe and proper manner, maintaining high production flow while ensuring quality.
• Moves pallets, skids, boxes, products or materials and transports load to designated area while maintaining integrity of items moved.
• Unloads paper from trailers, matches roll numbers and weight to manifest labels, labels roll & locates in warehouse.
• Proper finishing and labeling of finished goods pallets or Roll stock materials per customer specifications.
• Relocates all materials/finished goods when moved, using scan guns or computer terminals.
• Weights materials or products and records weight on tags, labels or production schedules.
• Completes loading sheets and locator sheets for Shipping and Roll stock requisition forms for manufacturing.
• Performs daily maintenance on machine including lubricating trucks, recharges batteries and replaces liquefied gas tanks.
