Greif, a global packaging leader, invites applications for a Forklift Operator in Baltimore, OH. The position runs 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM–7:00 PM or 7:00 PM–7:00 AM) on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule with a union facility.

• Mechanical aptitude and an interest in learning machine parts and equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow detailed safety and operating procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
• Forklift experience is a plus but not required.
• Job-specific training, including Powered Industrial Truck training, is provided.

Responsibilities

• Operate a sit-down forklift to safely transport finished products and materials throughout the mill.
• Package finished products according to customer specifications, including ticketing, banding, and wrapping.
• Transport products to various on-site warehouses.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Complete computer-based safety training.
• Assist Machine Operators with converting equipment and production activities.
• Learn machine parts, equipment setup, operation, adjustments, and basic troubleshooting.
• Monitor product quality and assist with adjustments as needed.
