Blue Rhino Propane is seeking a Part-Time Forklift Operator to join our team. The Forklift Operator will inspect and transport propane cylinders by loading and unloading with a forklift for Blue Rhino delivery drivers. This position offers in-house OSHA certified training.

Schedule: Saturday and Sunday, approximately 3pm-11pm

Responsibilities

• Transport propane cylinders safely around the yard using a forklift.
• Handle and maintain flow of materials and products following safety guidelines.
• Work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Complete and submit log sheets, BOLs, packing slips, and other paperwork.
• Document forklift inspections before shifts for safety and OSHA compliance.
• Inspect vehicles regularly and notify supervisors of maintenance needs.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
• Assist with other staffing needs during production shifts when not operating the forklift.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, understand, and pass necessary training and exams.
• Preferred: 1+ years of work experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Physically able to lift up to 75 pounds in all weather conditions.
• Genuine commitment to providing superior customer service.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful resident, authorized to work in the U.S.
• Applicants must not require sponsorship now or in the future for an employment visa.
