48forty Solutions, LLC is hiring a Forklift Operator in Hopkinsville, KY. You will move pallets, load/unload trailers, and help sort pallets while adhering to strict safety rules. Overtime may be required as part of a labor-intensive warehouse role.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED; forklift certification is preferred and 1–3 years of forklift experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• 1-3 years of forklift experience preferred, not required.
• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, lumber, carpentry, lumber, welding, roofing, and/or construction is strongly preferred.
• Willingness to work in a labor intensive environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Willing to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Move sorted pallet stacks to appropriate staging area using Relogistics forklift equipment.
• Forklifts must be operated with extreme care, adhering to company safety procedures at all times.
• Hand-sorting wooden pallets, when required.
• Repairing wooden pallets using a nail gun, when required.
• Maintain a clean & safe working environment.
