Join to apply for the Forklift Operator - Pallet Sorter role at 48forty Solutions.

This role involves heavy lifting, hand-sorting pallets to grade, and ensuring all trash and debris are removed from pallets prior to returning to customers. The position also includes operating a forklift to move pallets and other materials through the warehouse, supporting production, as well as loading and unloading trailers.

Base pay range

$16.00/hr - $16.00/hr

Responsibilities

• Move sorted pallet stacks to appropriate staging areas using forklift equipment.
• Operate forklifts with care, adhering to safety procedures.
• Hand-sort wooden pallets and repair them using a nail gun when required.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• 1-3 years of forklift experience.
• Experience in warehouse, logistics, lumber, carpentry, welding, roofing, or construction is preferred.
• Willingness to work in a labor-intensive environment.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
