Job summary

Relogistics in Galesburg, MI is hiring a Forklift Operator to move pallets and support production across warehouse areas. You will load/unload, sort pallets, and perform pallet repairs as needed. The role emphasizes safety, accurate pallet handling, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

Starting pay is $17.00–$17.50 per hour, with shifts on Saturday through Monday (two 12-hour spans). This is a full-time position with benefits and opportunities for overtime.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• 1-3 years of forklift experience preferred but not required.

• Move sorted pallet stacks to appropriate staging area using Relogistics forklift equipment.
• Forklifts must be operated with extreme care, adhering to company safety procedures at all times.
• Hand-sort pallets when required.
• Repair wooden pallets using a nail gun when required.

Job description

As a Forklift Operator, you’ll get to move pallets and other materials through the different areas of the warehouse, supporting production requirements in those areas, as well as loading and unloading customer trailers. Forklift Operators also get to wear many hats within the site! You may also sort pallets by hand and repair damaged wooden pallets by hand in some locations. This role is vital to the success of our Relogistics site!

Hourly Pay $17.00/hr. - $17.50/hr.

Shift(s) Saturday - Monday 600 AM- 600 PM, Saturday - Monday 600 PM - 600 AM

• Move sorted pallet stacks to appropriate staging area using Relogistics forklift equipment
• Forklifts must be operated with extreme care, adhering to company safety procedures at all times
• Hand-sorting wooden pallets, when required
• Repairing wooden pallets using a nail gun, when required
• Maintain a clean & safe working environment
• High School Diploma or GED
• Forklift certification preferred
• 1-3 years of forklift experience preferred, not required
• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, lumber, carpentry, lumber, welding, roofing, and/or construction is strongly preferred
• Willingness to work in a labor intensive environment
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Willing to work overtime as needed

• Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate
