48forty Solutions, LLC in North Canton, OH is seeking a Forklift Operator to move pallets and materials through the warehouse, support production, and assist with loading and unloading customer trailers.

Day-to-day tasks include sorting pallets, repairing damaged pallets by hand, maintaining a clean, safe work environment, and adhering to safety procedures. Must have a high school diploma or GED; forklift certification preferred; 1-3 years of forklift experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Move sorted pallet stacks to appropriate staging area using Relogistics forklift equipment
• Operate forklifts with care, adhering to safety procedures
• Hand-sort pallets when required
• Repair damaged wooden pallets by hand
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Potentially lift pallets manually 50–75 lbs

Description du poste

As a Forklift Operator, you’ll get to move pallets and other materials through the different areas of the warehouse, supporting production requirements in those areas, as well as loading and unloading customer trailers. Forklift Operators also get to wear many hats within the site! You may also sort pallets by hand and repair damaged wooden pallets by hand in some locations. This role is vital to the success of our Relogistics site!

Hourly Pay

• 1st Shift $20.00/hr
• 2nd Shift 20.50/hr

• 1st Shift Tuesday - Friday 600am - 430pm
• 2nd shift Tuesday - Friday 600pm - 430am

• Move sorted pallet stacks to appropriate staging area using Relogistics forklift equipment
• Forklifts must be operated with extreme care, adhering to company safety procedures at all times
• Hand-sorting wooden pallets, when required
• Repairing wooden pallets using a nail gun, when required
• Maintain a clean & safe working environment
• High School Diploma or GED
• Forklift certification preferred
• 1-3 years of forklift experience preferred, not required
• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, lumber, carpentry, lumber, welding, roofing, and/or construction is strongly preferred
• Willingness to work in a labor intensive environment
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Willing to work overtime as needed

• Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate
