Job summary

Randstad USA in Rincon, GA is seeking a warehouse associate to manage material movement on shipping and receiving docks using a sit-down forklift. You will stage pallets, load inbound and outbound freight, and coordinate with dock supervisors and drivers to ensure timely trailer drops and live loading, while maintaining safety standards.

This role is full-time, on-site with daytime hours. Attention to space optimization and adherence to safety regulations will be essential, with room to grow in

Responsibilities

• Manage material movement on shipping and receiving docks with sit-down forklift.
• Stage pallets, load inbound/outbound freight, and organize freight.
• Place incoming pallets into staging areas and move orders from packing to waiting trailers.
• Load trailers safely and optimize space while following safety regulations.
• Coordinate with dock supervisors and drivers for trailer drops, swaps, and live loading timelines.
• Assist with general warehouse tasks and reorganization using forklift.

Job description

Your responsibilities:

• Manage all material movement on the shipping and receiving docks, utilizing the sit down forklift to stage, load, and organize inbound and outbound freight.
• Strategically place incoming pallets into temporary staging areas and move completed orders from the packing lines directly onto waiting trailers.
• Conduct precise, safe, and efficient loading of trailers, optimizing space utilization while adhering to transport safety regulations.
• Coordinate effectively with dock supervisors and truck drivers to manage trailer drops, swaps, and live loading timelines.
• Act as a general warehouse support, moving large bulk items or assisting with reorganization projects using the forklift as the primary tool.

work hours: 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM

qualifications:

• up to 50 lbs. (heavy lifting)
• Successful performance on a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) Test.
