Job summary

The Hershey Company in Edgerton, KS is hiring a Forklift Operator for Sunday through Thursday, 8am to 4:30pm. This role moves materials, validates receipts, and supports production with timely shipments.

Candidates must be certified forklift operators, able to lift up to 40 pounds, and comfortable in a food production environment. Starting pay is $21.65 per hour with potential increases after 6 months, plus benefits such as a 401(k) plan and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Certified forklift operator (Stand-up Reach Truck).
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds repetitively.
• Ability to bend, twist, and stand for an entire shift.
• Must have valid work authorization in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Move materials with stand-up reach trucks and ensure accurate staging for production.
• Pick and prepare products from inventory for daily operation.
• Complete required paperwork accurately and timely.
• Prepare product orders to meet pick-up demands.
• Load freight orders for pickup and document receipts.
• Ensure products entering/leaving meet quality standards.
• Coordinate with Plant Operations and Shipping to meet timelines.
• Receive incoming orders and organize storage in racking.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and follow safety rules.
