Staffmark Group is hiring a Sit Down Forklift Operator in Edgerton, KS, offering a pay rate of $19.00–$21.00 per hour. Shifts include 1st, 2nd, and 3rd (4/10s or 5/8s) with Sunday-Thursday work and possible OT. Responsibilities include receiving, inspecting, inventory logging, picking, packing, labeling, and shipping documentation.

Must meet basic requirements and safety standards. The role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and safe operation of forklifts and warehouse equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Prior warehouse, shipping, or receiving experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills for inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
• Verify materials against packing slips and purchase orders.
• Log received goods into inventory systems.
• Pick, pack, and label items for outgoing shipments.
• Prepare shipping documents and labels for UPS and FedEx.
• Organize and stage outgoing shipments.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely (if certified).
• Maintain accurate inventory records.
• Assist with cycle counts.
• Keep shipping/receiving areas clean, safe, and organized.
• Communicate shipment issues to supervisors.
• Follow all safety rules and company policies.
