Job summary

Oldcastle, a CRH company, seeks a forklift operator to work in a rugged 50+ acre outdoor manufacturing environment. You will operate a front-end loader and forklift, loading bins and ensuring correct mix while following safety rules.

This role requires reading job specs, assisting setup, keeping area clean, and performing other duties as needed. A high school diploma or GED and ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required; internal certification will be provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent manufacturing experience
• Ability to read safety rules and manuals
• Must pass internal certification
• Lift up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Operate front-end loader or forklift and production machinery as directed and specified while adhering to all safety rules and regulations
• Load bins for production ensuring correct mix and quantity to prevent delay in production
• Keep work area clean
• Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements
• Assist machine operators to set up machines and any other necessary tasks to adhere to deadlines and completion of product
• Other duties as needed
