Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Lumberyard, warehouse, receiving, or inventory experience preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Ability to lift and move materials up to 80 pounds.
• Ability to stand, sit, bend, kneel, climb stairs, and perform repetitive lifting.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and record incoming lumber and building materials.
• Verify quantities and product quality against shipment documentation.
• Enter received materials and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
• Pick, stage, and palletize products for customers, transfers, and deliveries.
• Safely load and unload delivery vehicles and tractor-trailers.
• Maintain accurate paperwork, including packing slips and invoices.
• Properly handle, organize, and store materials to prevent damage.
• Report damaged or unsaleable products.
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe yard and receiving area.
• Work closely with sales, warehouse, and delivery teams to keep materials moving efficiently.
