Job summary

Arnold Lumber Company is seeking a Material Handler to accurately pick and stage lumber, masonry, and building materials for customer orders and deliveries. You’ll support yard and warehouse operations with courteous service and careful handling to protect product integrity.

Responsibilities include loading and unloading trucks, maintaining a clean, safe work area, assisting with inventory transfers, processing paperwork, and reporting discrepancies.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required; forklift certification preferred.
• Experience operating machinery and knowledge of building materials.
• Ability to lift 80 lbs and work in a yard/warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Accurately picking and staging lumber, masonry, and building materials for customer orders and deliveries.
• Provide courteous customer service in yard and warehouse settings.
• Safely load and unload trucks; maintain product integrity and minimize damage.
• Keep work area clean, organized, and safe; perform housekeeping as required.
• Support inventory and transfers; pull and stage products; process paperwork; report discrepancies.
• Complete forklift inspections and follow OSHA safety regulations.
