Job summary

Carlisle Companies is seeking a Forklift Operator to move materials and finished goods in a fully onsite manufacturing setting. You will perform pre-shift inspections, move products on a propane sit-down forklift, and help keep the production floor organized.

The role requires attention to detail, safety, and strong teamwork to support production and shipping. Typical shift is 8–10 hours with potential overtime; no travel.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Ability to be at least 18 years old.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-shift forklift inspections.
• Record maintenance, quality data, downtime, and output metrics.
• Safely operate propane sit-down forklift to move materials.
• Visually inspect materials for defects and segregate defective goods.
• Keep production area clean; assist in other plant areas as needed.
• Support teamwork with production and shipping to follow processes.
