Job summary

Carlisle is seeking a Forklift Operator to support shipping and warehouse activities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role involves moving materials, loading/unloading trucks, and keeping production lines and storage areas organized.

We require experience with propane sit-down forklifts, strong attention to detail, and the ability to follow safety policies. This full-time on-site position offers a standard 40-hour work week with occasional overtime and no travel.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a propane sit-down forklift or similar equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and safe work practices.
• Ability to follow policies, procedures, and processes.
• Good communication and time management.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-shift forklift inspections.
• Record maintenance data, quality checks, downtime, and output.
• Safely operate a propane sit-down forklift to move materials on the floor.
• Visually inspect materials for defects and segregate defective items.
• Assist with warehouse housekeeping and proper storage of goods.
• Team with production and shipping to follow standard works.
• Support recycling and keep it organized.
• Fill in on other plant areas as needed.
• Assist forklift Operator II as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
