Job summary

Carlisle Companies is seeking a forklift operator to handle pulling, loading, and movement of outbound shipments and inbound deliveries at the facility. You will operate a propane sit-down forklift and sort merchandise for pallets, ensuring efficient loading for transport.

This fast-paced manufacturing environment requires strong safety awareness, attention to detail, and the ability to follow shipping work orders.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 1 year forklift experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to use measuring devices and perform basic calculations.

Responsibilities

• Operate a propane sit-down forklift.
• Sort shipments for destination and group merchandise to be included with or fulfilled in an order.
• Load finished materials for transport and unload raw materials.
• Move products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment.
• Inspect the forklift to determine the need for repairs and to guarantee safety.
• Verify piece counts on each pallet and compare to label.
• Material handling of all products.
• Follow shipping work orders.
• Other duties as assigned
