Role: Forklift Operator - Nights

Safely and efficiently operate motorized forklifts to load and unload trucks, pull pallets of finished product from production lines, and place finished products in the warehouse as directed by the onboard WMS system.

Essential Functions:

• Operate forklift by moving levers and pressing pedals to control movement and lifting.
• Unload and stack materials by raising and lowering the lifting device.
• Plan supply and material requirements based on production schedules.
• Retrieve supplies and materials, verify specifications, and move pallets to production locations.
• Maintain inventory by tracking usage and reporting discrepancies.
• Clear production areas by moving finished and empty pallets.
• Log movements of supplies, materials, and finished goods.
• Maintain a safe work environment by following safety standards and procedures.
• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot forklift issues.
• Participate in educational opportunities to update job knowledge.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

• 0 years of experience in a manufacturing environment or similar.
• Proven ability to operate a sit-down forklift safely.
• Ability to navigate a WMS system.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience in manufacturing and managing people/projects.
