Job summary

XPO Logistics Freight Inc. is seeking a Forklift Operator to join our dock team. You’ll sort, handle, load and unload freight using pallet jacks and forklifts, and track shipments with handheld devices.

The work is on a non-climate controlled dock and requires safety‑conscious, efficient performance. Pay range is $24.37 to $29.93 per hour with an extra $1.80/hour night premium; shifts vary including days, evenings, nights and weekends; FAC shift is Day/Hours 5 days a week, 4 to 6 hours per week,

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Able to do basic math calculations, with and without a calculator.
• Available to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight.
• Use appropriate motorized and manual equipment, including pallet jack and forklift.
• Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and supplies.
• Work in a safe, efficient manner, adhering to company safety policies.
• Use mobile handheld devices to scan and track shipments.
• Work on a dock that is not climate-controlled for extended periods.
