Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Warehouse Forklift Operator in Mount Olive, NJ. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM start; shifts end when daily work is completed, based on volume. Day 1 benefits and full-time status.

Pay is $20.35–$22.35 per hour (cooler/freezer differential). You will operate forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks and related equipment to move and stock inventory. Responsibilities include locating storage slots, counting freight, replenishing pick slots, rotating stock, and

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
6+ months of Shipping and Receiving experience.
Must be able to work scheduled times and overtime as needed.
Able to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly throughout shift, lifting 10–90 pounds.
Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

Locate proper storage slots and set pallets with forklift or hand stack.
Conduct counts of incoming freight and transport to freezer with forklift/pallet jack.
Replenish pick slots with outgoing stock according to next day’s work orders.
Rotate date-sensitive stock and remove outdated inventory per policy.
Disperse over-stocked items to available slots and remove damaged pallets.
Perform safety checks and report unsafe conditions.
Inspect items for damage and perform temperature and quality checks.
