SA Recycling LLC in Georgia is seeking a Laborer to support yard operations, operate handling equipment safely, and assist technical staff. You will perform general housekeeping, sorting of scrap, and basic metal processing tasks while learning new skills.

This role requires reliability and the ability to work outdoors. This position emphasizes safety, adherence to environmental standards, and teamwork in a fast-paced recycling facility environment.

Qualifications

• Must pass a medical physical and drug test.
• Must pass a background check.
• Preferred: high school diploma or GED.
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish language skills are a plus.
• Ability to communicate effectively and use basic math as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate metal processing equipment using safe work habits.
• Observe processing operations and notify maintenance of malfunctions.
• Lift raw materials, finished products, and packed items manually or with hoists.
• Load and unload items from machines and conveyors.
• Safely clean equipment when jams occur.
• Follow procedures such as LOTOTO, Fall Prevention, and Fire Prevention.
• Basic sorting of scrap and metal/debris for processing.
• Provide backup support throughout the yard as needed.
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
