Job summary

Southeastern Container, Inc. is seeking a Forklift Operator to safely move materials and support production, warehousing, and shipping. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and efficient material handling within a food-grade manufacturing environment.

You'll operate forklifts, stage materials, and assist with inventory verification while adhering to SQF and quality standards. 12-hour shifts, weekends, and overtime may be required based on operational needs.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the United States.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education or relevant work experience preferred.
• Ability to successfully complete powered industrial truck training, evaluation, and certification.
• Ability to safely operate powered industrial trucks and related material-handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
• Supply pallets, packaging materials, and production materials as required.
• Transport finished goods from production areas to warehouse storage locations.
• Load and unload trailers following established procedures.
• Verify product identification and ship readiness; complete documentation.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with cycle counts.
• Perform pre-shift inspections and report safety concerns.
• Follow SQF, food safety, and quality requirements.
