Position Summary

Load and/or unload trucks. Receive, check, store, count, and distribute inventory of all types in accordance with established systems, procedures, and methods.

Position Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and positive work environment in compliance with OSHA, company standards, and local, state, and federal requirements.
• Perform tasks necessary to meet warehouse goals.
• Accurately complete all necessary paperwork.
• Manage daily inventory levels and conduct periodic inventories.
• Trace the history of items to determine reasons for discrepancies between inventory and stock control records and recommend remedial actions to management.
• Execute daily receiving and shipping processes, verifying counts and quality, and completing all required paperwork.
• Stack and arrange products on pallets.
• Complete forklift and pallet jack inspections before each shift.
• Replenish stock while maintaining a clean and organized warehouse.
• Move products as necessary during reallocations of space or inventory taking.
• Rotate products according to Julian dates or FIFO (first in, first out).
• Receive and check incoming products against receiving documents, ensuring proper coding, quantity, and condition; report discrepancies.
• Operate electric forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Work in freezers with temperatures ranging from 32°F to -25°F.
• Support production activities as needed.
• Wear required safety gear including hairnet, freezer suit, boots, earplugs, and gloves.
