Position Summary

Load and/or unload trucks. Receive, check, store, count, and distribute inventory of all types in accordance with established systems, procedures, and methods.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and positive work environment in compliance with OSHA, company standards, and local, state, and federal requirements.
• Perform tasks necessary to meet warehouse goals.
• Accurately complete all necessary paperwork.
• Manage day-to-day inventory levels and conduct periodic inventories.
• Trace the history of items to determine reasons for discrepancies and recommend remedial actions to management.
• Oversee daily receiving and shipping, verifying counts and quality, and completing all required paperwork and transactions.
• Stack and arrange products on pallets.
• Complete forklift and pallet jack inspections before each shift.
• Replenish stock and maintain an organized warehouse environment daily.
• Move products as necessary during reallocations or inventory counts.
• Rotate products according to Julian dates or FIFO.
• Receive and check incoming products against documents, ensuring proper codes, quantities, and conditions, reporting discrepancies.
• Operate electric forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Work in and out of freezers with temperatures averaging 32°F to -25°F.
• Support production activities.
• Wear required protective gear such as hairnets, freezer suits, boots, earplugs, and gloves.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3-4 years of warehouse, manufacturing, or production experience.
• At least one year of shift lead experience with effective communication skills.
• Current forklift certification.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work in loud environments and extreme temperatures, indoors and outdoors.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
