Position Summary

Load and/or unload trucks. Receive, check, store, count, and distribute inventory of all types in accordance with established systems, procedures, and methods.

Position Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Maintain a safe and positive work environment in compliance with OSHA, company standards, and local, state, and federal requirements.
2. Perform tasks necessary to meet warehouse goals.
3. Accurately complete all necessary paperwork.
4. Manage day-to-day inventory levels and conduct periodic inventories.
5. Trace history of items to determine reasons for discrepancies and recommend remedial actions to management.
6. Execute daily receiving and shipping, verify counts, quality, and complete all related paperwork.
7. Stack and arrange products on pallets.
8. Complete forklift and pallet jack inspections before each shift.
9. Replenish stock while maintaining a clean and organized warehouse.
10. Move products within the warehouse as necessary.
11. Rotate products according to Julian dates or FIFO.
12. Receive and check incoming products against documents, report discrepancies.
13. Operate electric forklifts and pallet jacks.
14. Work in and out of freezers at temperatures from 32°F to -25°F.
15. Provide general support to production.
16. Wear required safety gear including hairnet, freezer suit, boots, earplugs, and gloves.

Position Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3-4 years of warehouse, manufacturing, or production experience.
• One year of shift lead experience with effective communication skills.
• Current forklift certification.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work in a loud, fast-paced environment and in extreme temperatures.
