Job summary

EXCEL Group in Addis, LA is seeking a Material Handler/Warehouse Forklift Operator to support production by handling and distributing materials and operating forklifts safely. You will stock, inspect, and palletize bags, boxes, and finished goods while keeping work areas clean and organized.

The role requires experience with forklifts, a valid driver's license, and the ability to read production schedules. You will collaborate with the production team to meet daily goals and maintain quality

Qualifications

• Experience as a Material Handler or similar role in a production/manufacturing environment.
• Must have valid driver's license.
• Knowledge of material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, conveyors).
• Experience operating Warehouse Forklifts.
• Ability to read/interpret production schedules and labels.

Responsibilities

• Operate bagging and palletizing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Inspect incoming materials for damage and report issues.
• Bag, weigh, label, palletize, and box products; maintain quality.
• Support packaging machines as needed.
• Sweep and manage PVC powder residue and maintain cleanliness.
• Stack boxes onto pallets and load onto trucks with forklift.
• Follow safety protocols and company procedures.
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure smooth operations.
