Job summary

Advatix, Inc is seeking a Material Handler to join a fast-growing team. The role involves moving, locating, and storing materials using powered equipment in a warehouse environment.

The ideal candidate is a team player with prior warehouse/manufacturing experience and valid forklift certification. Responsibilities include picking/packing for shipment, restocking per procedures, updating the WMS, and assisting with freight coordination.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or three years of relevant warehouse experience required.
• Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience is required.
• Current forklift certification or the ability to become certified within 30 days required.
• Must be able to read and understand written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds alone and greater weights in a team-lift environment.
• Capable of lifting, carrying, bending, stretching, and standing for long periods.
• Able to climb ladders as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered equipment safely and efficiently with certification.
• Accurately pick and pack items for shipment, potentially using a forklift.
• Complete required paperwork and project time-tracking.
• Restock items not needed short term per procedures.
• Assist with contacting freight couriers to schedule pick-ups and deliveries.
• Label and prepare items for shipment and load/unload trucks as needed.
• Update the Warehouse Management system with transactions.
• Perform daily safety checks and battery charging procedures.
• Support teammates to meet and exceed customer expectations.
• Update supervisor on issues or concerns.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
