Job summary

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a dependable Material Handler in the Dallas area to support daily production and warehouse operations. You will transport materials, supplies, and finished products to designated locations to keep production running smoothly.

The role requires forklift experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in basic math and teamwork is essential. The schedule is first shift with a fixed pay rate.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of related material handling/warehouse experience required.
• Previous forklift operating experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Good basic math skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize responsibilities.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office or related software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials, supplies, and finished products throughout the facility.
• Ensure production workstations have the appropriate materials needed for production orders.
• Assist with production changeovers by clearing remaining product from workstations after jobs are completed.
• Weigh and count materials being returned to the warehouse and complete necessary bin transfers.
• Set up incoming shifts with the materials needed for production.
• Distribute and store products in designated, secure locations.
• Review incoming shipments for quality and quantity.
• Verify labels for accuracy and initial as required.
• Load and transport materials manually and/or using hand trucks and skids.
• Fill materials/resins in a timely manner to keep production running efficiently.
• Notify supervisors of quantity or skid discrepancies and assist with inventory adjustments.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
