Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. is seeking a Material Handler in California to operate forklifts and lifting devices to move and stack materials in a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment.

You will support multiple departments and ensure accurate part flow, inventory control, and timely material readiness for production. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 0–6 months related experience, and a valid forklift certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Forklift driving certification required.
• 3–6 months related experience or equivalent.
• Ability to read safety instructions and operating manuals.
• Ability to perform basic math and measurements.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift and lifting devices to move materials.
• Position forks and lifting devices under pallets and transport loads.
• Unload, stack, and organize materials.
• Inventory materials on the floor and supply to workers as needed.
• Weigh materials and record weights on tags or schedules.
• Verify accuracy of parts leaving facility for outside processing.
