Job summary

MillenniumSoft Inc. seeks a Material Handler in San Diego, CA for an entry-level contract role.

You will operate forklifts, conveyors, cranes and other handling equipment to move materials within a plant and warehouse, following SOPs and quality guidelines. Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma, have 0–1 year warehouse experience, and can read English documents, perform basic math, and communicate effectively with team leads and coworkers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0 to 1 year warehouse experience or related experience and/or training.
• RF Scanner knowledge is helpful but not required.
• Has basic skills training in an analytical / scientific method or operational process area.
• Ability to read, write, interpret and comprehend documents written in English and perform basic math calculations.
• General computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Uses forklifts, conveyors, cranes, handcarts, and power trucks to move materials, parts, assemblies and finished products within a plant, office or warehouse.
• Maintains records and develops skills in basic tasks, techniques and procedures within one skill area.
• Applies basic knowledge to complete routine tasks with prescribed steps.
• Follows SOPs and quality guidelines under general to limited supervision.
