Job summary

BlueLinx Holdings Inc. in Denver seeks a Material Handler/Forklift Operator to join our distribution center team, offering a stable Mon-Fri 7am-4pm schedule and a fixed wage of $23.60 per hour.

You will operate forklifts, load/unload materials, perform daily equipment inspections, and help maintain safety and accuracy in shipping and inventory.

Qualifications

• One year or recent forklift/warehouse experience.
• Ability to operate forklift safely.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to read and follow directions.
• Stable work history.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift in compliance with forklift training and safety guidelines.
• Load/unload/store building materials from trailers or rail cars while minimizing damage.
• Store and retrieve material (piece pick and/or bulk)
• Prepare the paperwork required for distribution and shipping of products.
• Performs daily inspection and maintenance of equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in working and assigned area.
• Assists in periodic inventory counts as requested.
