Job summary

Sonoco in Robesonia, PA is hiring a Material Handler to move products within the plant using a stand-up forklift. You will report to the Production Manager and support production by distributing finished goods and raw materials, while keeping accurate paperwork and inventory records.

The role requires forklift experience, the ability to lift 50 lbs, and a reliable, safety‑minded work style. Overtime may be required to meet production needs.

Qualifications

• Requires previous forklift operation experience.
• Must be able to read and understand manufacturing instructions.
• Should have a “get it done” attitude and urgency to complete tasks.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate a stand‑up forklift safely and efficiently.
• Move finished goods and raw materials within the plant to appropriate workstations.
• Check tags/labels for accuracy and maintain paperwork for loads.
• Load and unload trucks; maintain accurate records and paperwork.
• Assist with monthly inventory and organize warehouse stock.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
