Job summary

G&D Integrated in East Peoria, IL is seeking a Material Handler I to load and unload trucks and operate a sit-down forklift ranging 5,000 lb to 30,000 lb. The role emphasizes safety, ISO and 5S compliance, and teamwork on the 1st shift.

Requirements include a GED or high school diploma and 1 year of material handling experience preferred, with 3PL exposure preferred. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401K with match, life insurance and PTO.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 0–3 months related experience/training; or equivalent combination
• 1 year of material handling experience preferred
• Experience in a 3PL environment preferred

Responsibilities

• Load and unload material from trucks
• Operate sit-down forklift
• Proactively communicate issues with Supervisor to identify improvements
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Maintain safety and clean workspace in compliance with ISO and 5S
• Assist team to achieve velocity, quality and cost targets
• Provide leadership by example and knowledge sharing
