Dairy Farmers of America is seeking a dependable Forklift Operator/Material Handler for our Mechanicsburg, PA facility. Duties include transporting materials, inputting items in SAP, and maintaining production records to support safe, efficient operations.

Roles include Day Shift and Night Shift with 12-hour cycles; occasional Sundays may be planned. Starting pay is $26 per hour with overtime paid for 40 hours per week; work schedule offers robust team collaboration and adherence to GMPs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year sit-down forklift experience.
• Experience with double forks is a plus.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Operate power industrial trucks (sit-down electric forklifts) to transport raw materials and finished goods.
• Input items into SAP system
• Maintain accurate production records that are written and computer based.
• Perform minor maintenance repairs and/or sanitation tasks as needed.
• Engage in problem solving to improve safety, quality, yields and productivity.
• Maintain safety and quality awareness and urgency.
• Be a working part of the team.
• Adhere to DFA GMPs and all safety, quality, sanitation requirements.

Dairy Farmers of Americais looking for highly dependable team players to join our staff as aFORKLIFT OPERATOR/Material Handlerat our Mechanicsburg, PA facility. The role of the Forklift Operator is to transport raw materials to where they are stored or needed for use and to transport finished goods to trailers for shipping

Hiring Day Shift and Night Shift Monday-Wednesday or Thursday-Saturday

Day Shift 06:00AM-6:30PM and Night Shift 6:00PM-06:30AM

All crews in Production are required to work an occasional Sunday - which are preplanned.

Work (3) 12 hours shifts each week and get paid for 40 hours.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform other duties as assigned to support the needs of the business.
