Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America is seeking a Forklift Operator/Material Handler for our Mechanicsburg, PA facility. You will transport raw materials to storage and finished goods to trailers, operate sit-down forklifts, and input items into the SAP system to support production and shipping.

The role offers day and night shifts with a 36-hour work week paid as 40 hours, starting payrate of $26 per hour, and a commitment to safety and quality in a food manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year sit-down forklift experience.
• Experience with double forks is a plus.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Effective communication and basic PC skills required.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down electric forklifts to move raw materials and finished goods.
• Input items into SAP system.
• Maintain accurate production records (written and computer-based).
• Perform minor maintenance/sanitation tasks as needed.
• Contribute to safety, quality, yields and productivity improvements.
• Work as part of a team and adhere to safety and GMP policies.
