Job summary

voestalpine Roll Forming Corporation is seeking a safety‑conscious Material Handler to operate forklifts and move materials within our Shelbyville, KY facility. You will load, unload, and transport items, maintain records, and support production flow in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include inventory tasks, equipment maintenance, and collaborating with team members while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• OSHA 10-hour training preferred.
• First Aid or CPR training preferred.
• Driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move products, materials, and equipment.
• Read work orders and follow instructions to move materials between storage, production, and shipping areas.
• Perform routine forklift maintenance and keep work area clean and organized.
• Assist inventory counts and cycle counts; maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Mentor less experienced Material Handlers and support safety and process improvements.
