Job summary
voestalpine Roll Forming Corporation is seeking a dependable warehouse team member in Shelbyville, KY for 2nd shift. Responsibility includes shipping/receiving, container preparation, and inventory control. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and obtain a forklift license.
High school diploma or GED required, with experience in a manufacturing setting preferred. Company offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth; relocation not required.
Qualifications
- Experience with forklift and material handling in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to operate computers and warehouse software.
- Basic education as a high school diploma or GED.
Responsibilities
- Determine shipment method and verify information against records.
- Assemble or repair containers and insert items with padding.
- Seal crates, apply labels, and prep for shipping or receiving.
- Record damage, part counts, and discrepancies for internal teams.
- Operate forklift or hand truck to move shipments within the facility.
- Provide directions to others for outgoing and incoming shipments.
- Maintain orderly warehouses and perform daily cycle counts to ensure FIFO.
- Keep shipping/receiving areas clean and organized.
