Job summary

Detroit Tool Metal Products is seeking a Material Handler for our Lebanon, MO facility. The role operates a forklift to stage containers and materials, unloads and moves items to processing, shipping, or storage areas, and assists with setup as needed.

Candidates must be 18+, have a high school diploma or GED, and possess forklift experience. The position is direct full-time with first and second shifts, with overtime as required.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age (required at all locations)
• High School diploma or GED (required at all locations)
• Previous forklift experience
• Previous manufacturing experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Load and unloads material on/off of pallets, skids, or lifting devices using a forklift
• Moves parts and unused material from the machine area to subsequent processing departments or to shipping or storage
• Plan and stage materials ahead of operator needs
• Change propane cylinders when needed on the forklift
• Assist operators with setup when needed
• Willingness to assist in other areas as needed
• Other duties as assigned
