Job summary

Dauch Corporation is seeking a Forklift Driver to safely operate forklift equipment, move raw materials to production areas, and load finished goods for shipment in Bluffton, Indiana. You will help keep the warehouse running smoothly and support production schedules with timely material handling.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent and prior forklift experience, a commitment to safety, and a willingness to follow procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Use forklift to move materials to shipping and production areas.
• Load outgoing shipments and provide documents to shipping clerk.
• Unload freight and verify counts against the bill of lading.
• Store materials in receiving area and assist quality control.
• Weigh count finished and raw materials and record data.
• Take yearly inventories and assist with random weight counts.
• Service manufacturing with raw materials and move finished goods to shipping.
• Dispose of chips from manufacturing processes as required.
• Follow safety rules and keep the work area clean.
